Rai runs in the Coledale Horseshoe Fell Race in Keswick, U.K., in April 2012.
Rai competes in the Manaslu Trail Race in Nepal with the world's eighth highest mountain, Mount Manaslu, as a backdrop.
Rai trains around Chamonix before winning the Mont-Blanc 80KM in 2015.

Rai crosses the finish line at the Dolomites Skyrace in Italy.

During the 83-kilometer Trail degli Eroi in Italy, Rai's second international race, she ran past World War II battle sites.

Rai descends a scree slope at the Salomon Advanced Week team camp in the English Lake District. "Fun in inclement weather. Some sun, some snow, some rain in just 5 minutes—amazing!" she says.

Rai wins her first international race at the Sellaronda Trail Running in the Dolomites in 2014.
